QuAlsar — Terms of Service

By using the QuAlsar app, you agree to the following terms.

1. Service Description

QuAlsar is an AI-powered exam prep and study assistant app for students. It offers solution generation, topic summaries, Pomodoro focus modes, leaderboards (Knowledge League), and subscription-based premium features.

2. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate account information.
• Don't share your account; you're responsible for password security.
• Use the app only for lawful purposes.
• Be respectful to other users (leaderboards, shares).
• Don't upload copyrighted content without permission.
• If under 13, get parental consent.

3. AI Content Disclaimer

Responses in the app are generated by the third-party AI provider selected by the user (Google Gemini, OpenAI/ChatGPT, Anthropic/Claude, xAI/Grok or DeepSeek). AI can make mistakes, provide incomplete information, or misinterpret. For important decisions (exam answers, health, legal matters), do not rely solely on AI responses — verify independently. The app provides an option to report inappropriate or incorrect AI output.

4. Premium Subscription

• Subscriptions are processed via Google Play Billing.
• Auto-renewing; renews at the end of the period unless cancelled.
• Cancellation: Go to your Google Play account → Subscriptions → QuAlsar at any time.
• You continue to enjoy premium features until the end of the active period.
• Refund policy follows Google Play rules.

5. Prohibited Uses

• Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code.
• Manipulating the leaderboard system with automated tools.
• Attempting to access other users' accounts without authorization.
• Sending spam or harmful content.

6. Intellectual Property and Trademarks

The app, its content, and design are owned by QuAlsar. Open-source licenses are listed in the in-app "Open Source Licenses" page.

The third-party model names referenced in the app — Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek and others — are trademarks of their respective owners (Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, DeepSeek). QuAlsar is an independent product and has no partnership, sponsorship, or official affiliation with these companies. The names are used only to indicate which AI provider is being used.

7. Account Termination

If you violate these terms, we may suspend your account without notice. You may also delete your account anytime (Profile → Delete My Account).

8. Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is". No absolute guarantee is given for the accuracy of AI responses, uninterrupted operation, or educational value.

9. Changes

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
